Centennial Sportsplex's three-hour Wednesday morning block is almost empty. The catch: it follows a figure-skating class so the ice is often chewed up. If you're working on something that fits in a 10-foot patch, it doesn't matter — three hours of nearly-empty ice in midtown Nashville beats smooth ice with 50 people on it.
Avoid the weekend public skates at Centennial — they're packed beyond reason. The arena moved into the Predators DaySmart booking system in May 2026, so registration counts and projections are now live for every public skate, freestyle, and stick & puck session.
